Attempting to get an update from his appearance in the Alabama versus Mississippi All-Star Classic this weekend, MemphisRoar had a chance to get an update on Eric Bledsoe’s school list.
According to Bledsoe, the schools that made the cut for his final five schools are Florida, Kentucky, UAB, Rutgers and Duke. When asked why he cut the other schools (Memphis, Oregon, Baylor and Tennessee), he said, “I haven’t heard from the others enough”.
This new list of potential suitors does not match up fully with the list that was leaked out two weeks ago by Bledsoe’s high school coach Maurice Ford, which only contained Kentucky, Floriday and UAB. Eric is re-taking his ACT at the beginning of April and will focus more on a decision after that date.
Buzz from some of the people we speak with is that Bledsoe is favoring Kentucky at this point. Claiming to not have set up any visits, it has been made apparent to MemphisRoar that Bledsoe has tentative plans to visit Lexington, KY around the time of the Derby Festival Classic which takes place on April 11th at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY. Bledsoe will be one of the featured players on the DFC roster.
With Bledsoe off the board, all the proverbial eggs are in the John Wall basket.
