
Standout forward, Jeremy Williams, has committed to play for Tony Barbee and the UTEP Miners. Williams, currently at Southwest Tennessee Community College, was originally at Colorado. Having some academic problems and redshirting last season, Williams decided to return home to play for Southwest Tennessee Community College. This story, seemingly almost a month old, has gained little attention and is not on many of the major recruiting services committment list for the Miners.
Williams leads the team is scoring. In the team’s season opener, Williams led the Saluqis with 22 points and 11 rebounds. He averages 16 points and 6 rebounds a game and is considered to be one of the top five junior college players in the country.
In his freshman season at the University of Colorado, he averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
