Fifty or more top high school basketball prospects will be attending this year’s CampPros Elite Camp in Memphis, TN. The camp will take place this Friday, July 31st, at the Streets Ministries facilities on Vance Avenue. Players from Birmingham, AL, Jackson, MS, Cincinnati, OH, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, and all over the state of Tennessee, will be traveling to the Bluff City to showcase their skills against great local and national talent.
Streets Ministries, founded by Ken Bennett, has been reaching out to students in inner city Memphis for over twenty years and has served as a beacon of hope for underprivileged youth. Bennett, a graduate of the University of Memphis, has served as team chaplain for the Memphis Tigers since 2004. Despite the recent coaching changes, Bennett has established a good friendship with head coach Josh Pastner and plans on remaining team chaplain with the Tigers for the foreseeable future.
Twenty-two years after starting Streets Ministries with just a van and a basketball, Bennett has teamed up with BEAC to hold a premier basketball camp featuring top local and national talent. Whether supporting Streets Ministries, the city of Memphis, or a top basketball prospect, the CampPros Elite Camp is an event you do not want to miss!
