Jamie Bender a 5′11″, 200 lb. hard-hitting safety from Jones Community College in Ellisville, MS has given a verbal committment to Memphis. Bender is originally from Raleigh, MS choose Memphis over UAB. This makes the second year in a row that the Tigers have received a committment from Jones Community College. Last year Akeem Davis, also a defensive back from Jones committed to Memphis. Brandon McDonald, former Tiger and current Cleveland Browns defensive back also went to Jones.
