Porter (22) is putting up big numbers and garnering attention.
Tuesday night, a member of the Memphis staff watched class of 2011 6′8″ Otto Porter of Scott County Central in Missouri along with coaches from Missouri, Southeast Missouri State and Missouri State. Porter’s Scott County Central team took on the Notre Dame Bulldogs, falling to defeat 71-62 on Tuesday. Porter led the Braves with 31 points.
Up until now, Porter has flown under the radar. Schools took notice in December when Porter went for 31 points, 20 rebounds, and 8 steals against 6′6″ Florida signee Casey Prather (#25 in Class of 2010 ESPN) and Jackson-Northside High School in the Eiffel Tower Shootout.
