VIDEO: 2011 C Stan Simpson Highlights

6-foot-10 2011 center Stan Simpson has garnered significant interest from the University of Memphis over the past two months along with schools like Kentucky, Kansas, and Connecticut. Memphis Roar got their hands on some footage of Simpson’s John A. Logan Community College team and cut up the film to show you some highlights of Simpson.

    Doesn’t look like the caliber talent I would be looking for if I were competing for a national title contender. Maybe I just haven’t seen enough.

    Pretty impressive. Love the fact that he chose Memphis over the other big names. It is always a victory when we win a recruiting battle against coach choaks in the NCAA.

     Looks like a project.  Plays like a white boy.  No hops, slow and gets a rebound once in awhile.  He’ll be an ok role player.
