Stephens named C-USA Defensive Player of the Year

IRVING, Texas – University of Memphis’ D.J. Stephens and Chris Crawford were named Conference USA’s Defensive Player and Sixth Man of the Year, respectively, the league office announced Tuesday. Stephens was also picked for the C-USA All-Defensive Team, while Shaq Goodwin was a C-USA All-Freshman Team selection.
