This makes me think he is concerned about Porter's job security, he doesn't think he can beat out the QB's that are already here, or both.

We let TW go for about 3 years too long, I think LP will have plenty of time. It is not like we have this huge tradition of winning, so if we take a couple of extra years but really right the ship I dont think it is the biggest travisty.

I was worried about Douglas getting recruited by the SEC because he had good showings at the all-star camps and had a big year. And we do have a true freshman on top of the depth chart. But he came to just about all our home games and seemed really committed. And he says he hasn't spoken to other schools. I'm missing something here.
