Exactly and I am desperate to hear anymore FB recruiting news. It is a testament to LP (and maybe the rebuilding of the BB team) that my interest is so intense on the FB front. I don't really know the significance of 2 Vs. 3 stars for players but seem to focus on every word (good or bad). Can't wait for Wednesday to see how it comes out but love for you insiders/connected/good guessers to give us more.

Any word on how the ice conditions affected this past weekend?

All I can tell you for now, is that around 17 were suppose to visit, but in the end, it was 10 that made it. Still trying to check on some new possible commits.

Unfortunate. The one time Memphis gets any severe weather, we got 17 recruits coming in.

Yea, it was a bit of a hiccup, but look at it this way, some schools were affected much more. The weather prevented DL Devin Clark from making his Arkansas visit, but he did make a visit to Ole Miss in place of Arkansas. I think he's ours to lose. We also made up ground with big OL Damien Robinson who was set to go out of town possibly to UT when he decided to take the Memphis visit due to the weather. Now Memphis may have a legit chance due to the visit and some other factors that could come in to play.

Lets give Coach porter more than one year before we judge his recruiting...
He only had about half a year to recruit and put a staff together.

This group of guys is a good foundation. It should allow them to get to .500 in 2010 and move into conference contention there after.

Just watched the Press Conference, LP has me pumped! Love the attitude and the approach. He made it clear that he is selling and not willing to concede anything at any time. We may not get them but it won't be easy even for the big boys...

26 is great.

Rivals only shows 22 and we are ranked 60. When they get it together I would like to see where we wind up.
