LB Serdarius Bryant (5-10 214) of Sanford, FL took a long trip this summer where he visited Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss, Middle Tennessee, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Florida State and North Carolina A&T. Prior to the trip his leaders were USC, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Central Florida, Illinois, and Miami.

DL Terry Redden (6-3 285) of Memphis has been to Memphis and plans to visit Ole Miss soon. He's also going to see Vanderbilt and Tennessee, and he plans to get to Clemson. He last heard from the Tigers in the spring. Redden said he remains very interested in Clemson which has offered along with Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky and Kansas.

DE Darrius Caldwell (6-5 210) of Atlanta has offers from USC, West Virginia, Virginia, Illinois, Central Florida, Ole Miss, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Memphis, and Buffalo and is hearing from Florida, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Georgia, and Georgia Tech. He says USC, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Central Florida, and Virginia are his top five in no order.

DB Neville Hewitt (6-2 195) of Conyers, GA will attend USC's showcase camp in late July and says he could commit to USC then because he's favoring the Game****s. Hewitt has offers from USC, Memphis, Buffalo, Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky, and Delaware State. He says Michigan State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Purdue, Maryland, and Southern Miss are also showing interest. Hewitt has not taken any other visits over the summer and USC will be his first. He is also considering a camp at Florida.

Will the Tigers ever sign a 5 star recruit in football or even a 4 star?

It's awfully hard to do when you are in a non BCS conference. Even Boise, TCU etc, rarely get them.

We got a four star receiver this past year in Farr.

BTW, Brooks, since I was one who asked for a separate football recruiting forum, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate it.

Nice post here, too.

No problem! Glad we could oblige. I think it's worked out well.
