@cobes62 You seem to know our baseball program pretty well, so in your opinion, is Coach Rock the right guy for the job? We seem to be heading to another .500 season again.

He's been here for nine seasons right? There's a lot of talent in the city. Not to discredit the coach, but it does seem like we've been in a standstill.

I just love baseball. We beat Ole Miss last night.......top 25 team. There are always things you can point to that you would question regarding coaches, players, etc....Coach Rock is a good man.....no doubt. We have stranded so many runners this year....not being able to get the timely hit......Last night was an exception, Jacob Wilson and TJ Rich both stepped up and got the big hits. Timely hits/good pitching = wins. It was great to see the excitement in the players and coaches last night. We have talent on this team. We are young.......14 freshman. Talented freshman. I think we are positioned well to finish strong this year if we can get on a roll......that's baseball. I'm really excited about the next 2-3 years. Have a good class coming in next year. This year I believe we got three of the better local talent in Tubbs, Caufield and Carter. We've got two of the best lefty pitchers in the area coming next year in Cole and Lee. We will continue to improve and get the mentality of expecting to win and knowing how to win consistently. We do need more support. WE should be averaging 2500 at home games instead of 300. The players deserve it!!!
