    Hopefully he wont pitch like he did for Boston. But he cant be any worse than Thompson or Motte.

    No longer follow baseball, but grew up watching the Braves. Loved the rotation with Maddox, Smoltz, Glavin, and Avery.

    You have got that right. This is turning out to be a very good Cardinal team, but pitching can be a weakness.

    If anyone can help Smoltz regain his form it would be Dave Duncan.

    My personal opinion, Smoltz would be a great set up man to the closer, but maybe changing back to the N.L. will help his pitching as it has helped Holliday's hitting.
